Author Ralph Waldo Emerson is quoted as saying, “There are many things of which a wise man might wish to be ignorant.”
Timothy Ferriss, author of The 4-Hour Workweek, suggests, “Just as modern man consumes both too many calories and calories of no nutritional value, information workers eat data both in excess and from the wrong sources.”
OK this is not one of my strong points—in fact, it’s something I recognize that I need to really work on. You may need to consider cutting back on your information intake, as well, in order to be more focused and productive.
